LEISURE: The Big SHOT for SPORT..

1 Bow.90 Arrows.1 Bull's Eye

Seven years ago, POOL and SNOOKER were the two very popular indoor sports being introduced in Brunei and caught a lot of attractions from the young generation..Some of them did made their names in the international games..Ahh~ Those were the days where young teenagers used to hang out..A place for them to have fun with their friend..UNFORTUNATELY, every good things must come to an end and it did..POOL and SNOOKER has now become the UN-FAMOUS indoor sport amongst the Bruneian peeps..


Anywhoo~ Soon there will be another indoor sport, which will attracts a lot of people especially the teenagers..ARCHERY..A shop of ARCHERY has NOW been opened for ALMOST 3 weeks already and we JUST KNEW it yesterday!!! Urgh~ Well, after our dinner at the Excapade restaurant, we then went to see whether the ARCHERY shop has already opened or not..GUESS WHAT?? Its OPENED..So, we parked our car infront of the WYWY restaurant and walked into the ARCHERY shop..A very nice design with very interesting colours..Simple design but the colours really makes it OUTSTANDING..There're a lot of certificates on the walls, which I'm not very sure what it is..Anywhoo~ There are two types of different payments, one is for the NOT-SO-YOUNG peeps while the other is for student's discounts..URGH~ Under the NOT-SO-YOUNG peeps, 30 arrows and a bow cost us around 10 dollars and if you want to have 60 arrows and a bow, then it will cost us around 18 dollars..Erhmm~

The archery thingy really tempt us..In the end, we've decided to try it and paid for the 30 arrows..Ahh~ New stuff..Roslan, Seri and Nizam became the first batch to try the ARCHERY thingy..They were taught on how to wear the safety gadgets and also on how to release the arrow from the bow..Arrows keep on flying towards the target but LITTLE on the bull's eye..Hahaha..Well, its our turn next..Ahh~ Let's try to have fun..Shoot lots of arrows and learned a lot of new things..I have no problem with holding or pulling the bow BUT I have the problem of concentrating and releasing the arrow..Its OKAY~ We're amateur, what can we do about it.. Hahaha..Well..Today we're amateur, who knows, tomorrow we will become professional..Hahaha..

Thought we're done when all of the arrows are finito..NOT~The eagerness to try more makes us to add another 60 MORE ARROWS..Maybe this could be our HLP programme..Hahaha..Another 60 arrows flying towards the target..BUT as usual, LITTLE towards the BULL'S EYE..Hahaha..Three of US did make it to the BULL'S EYE: Roslan, Seri and Me..But the other TWO, only went for the red (the colour before the BULL'S EYE): Hilfi and Nizam..Hahaha..Well, we finished around 9 in the evening..

FYI, there are also archery's gadgets being sold in that shop BUT for the bows, even they have it on the shelf, and you are able to buy it, you are not ALLOWED to take it home..It needs license..Sigh..I could make it as one of my sport's collection though..

P/S: There are more people coming in during night time especially after 9 in the evening..Maybe that could be our next chill-out place..Cool~A place where we could release our work tension and also to kill our enemy..Hahaha..
