ELEGANCE: Carté Blanché

Berhari Raya @ Sab's House

The freedom of using your sense of style and wisdom to decorate your house makes you a carté blanché's type of people. Be different and that is what you will find in Sab's house, which was our next stop after the Empire. As we arrived at Sab's house, for the first time in my life (or might be the second, third...), I was astounded with the building's structure. It was so different from others. The house looks elegant from the outside especially with the lightings that shone out from the windows.

You can't imagine how much the house cost the owner when you see the inside decor. After we parked our car just outside the house, we walked towards the main door. From afar, the door looks very simple, but if you look very closely, the door looks like a dungeon's door. How cool is that?? As usual, without waiting the owner to greet us, ISKANDAR (NOT HIS ACTUAL NAME), our boss, entered the house without any guilts. We were then warmly greeted by Sab, the owner of the house. Before we were asked to eat the scrumptious foods on the table, we were given a mini tour around the house, which has always been in our mind since we entered the house.

We were first given a tour from the wide spacious living room to a small private living room. The private living room located around the corner of the house was designed to be a simple and typical type of room, which then it was decorated with tables, chairs, book shelves and etc from ikea. The lights from the lamps gives a romantic mood for the people to enjoy their leisure inside the room. A mirror was placed on the floor, which in the picture I've taken last night, reflects the owner as well as the BOSS.

From the private living room, we were taken to the first floor. The stair case was decorated with hanging lights from the rail and it looks perfect with the mood. As we walked up the stairs, you can see the ceilings where they've placed some wood panels on it. It looks so elegant especially when they have these lights coming out from every corner of the house...

Now, its time for us to go to the kitchen...Honestly, the kitchen looks very simple, but what i like was that it is very spacious. For the dining room, it looks so nice when you served a lot of foods on top of the table. Without wasting any time, we 'greedily' ate the foods served on the table..har har har..The food was nice though, although i'm a bit full at that time. I LURVE the fruity drinks..It taste good..

While we were enjoying the food, as usual, i've took the chance to view around the house from the place where we sat. We did have a little chat with the owner of the house. He did mentioned to us that he designed the house by himself with the help from the magazine of course but at first it was kind a bit hard for them to find an architect who can help them to design the house. But now, look at the result.. For me, the house itself + the interior design suits well with the young generation.

While the clock is ticking, we shifted ourselves from the dining room towards the main living room. Lots and lots of peeps were there during that time..and we kinda bit shy especially my friend, Hilfi. We sat on a chair which is made out of large bamboo stick which is so cool. There it was, sitting, waiting to be lifted up from the bowl..CHOCOLATES...At first Hilfi was kinda bit scared to take the chocolate by his own but i've convinced him that Iskandar was there, then he took the chocolate by his own.. Im PROUD of him... har har har.. Anyway, we continued ENJOYING the mansion..and the peeps..

Minutes passes by quickly, and finally its time for us to set our foot off from the house. We thanked the owner for giving us the tour in his house.

P/S: Great interior design as well as the structure of the house..
